That Was The Day The World Changed…

The south coast of the American nation at 0700 on 11-21-2034, an enemy fleet of Russian Warships approached the American territory. They know this was a suicide mission, but they didn’t care, they were going to die anyways. Their fleet of ships consisted of three destroyers, two nuclear submarines, and one support craft. For all they knew, they had not been seen. It was also assumed there was less fortification of the nation on the south shores. Their presumptions were incorrect, and the United State’s Military was already on their toes.

Two hours go past and the clock hits 0922.. The clunky Russian radars start to finally start picking up bogeys on the shores of the Nation, a majority being commercial aircraft. This was the United State’s plan though. The United State’s already had two F-35’s with JSM cruise missiles locked and hot. The sudden moment the ships noticed the launch of the missiles, it was too late. The F-35s went off the radar quickly leaving them with incoming missiles not even 40 kilometers out. They scrambled and tried to evade, but where unfortunate and were struck. The only boat to survive was the support craft, which soon fled the scene.

Composition was key for all these photos. I took upwards of five or more minutes trying to get the correct composition on all of them. I believe that my composition came out strong for the majority of these photographs besides the “Reflective” photo because of its non-sparkly feel.

 

Editing was a part that was difficult. I attempt to get the image to come out as realistic as possible and natural. I feel like I did a decent job on editing making them have more “pop” then the raw image.

 

If I were to shoot these photos again I would do it to make them more focused. I feel I got the composition down, but a lot of them were done at weird angles making them shake alongside the camera. I ended up having to use the burst shoot.

 

I feel one a select few of mine would be “qualified” for being on the home page. I believe this because of the composition and effort on making the color natural. The composition came out great with some of these and would possibly be an outlier.

The first image inside the gallary by Garreth Paul shows a unity between all the objects makes the image feel natural as it would when you see it in a bar. The Variety also plays a part in the image especially between the bottles and their positioning. When it comes to me looking at the photo, I see a unique set with a variety of bottles. My eyes first made a turn for the limes and made their way up.

The second photo by Garreth paul shows a similar image compared to the first one, but the difference is it feels more direct. The variation between all the objects blends in naturally and make it feel very vast. The objects all looking or facing the camera make it feel direct almost like they are all staring at you, but is more of an eye catching and curious emotion than akward.

The last photo the in the gallery by Alex Seinet was a unique one that caught my eye. The vast variation of the pedals and their color hues all catch my eye with no hesitation. The colors feel natural and put off a relaxing emotion.
