Texture

This photo pops out to me as a viewer. The feathers show their true color with the blend of the purple and blue hues. Its depth of field pops out the main parts of the picture making it an ease to look at. In the picture random lines and positioning making it appear almost naturally creative. It almost makes you want to look at it again with the way it looks initially like plastic but it is acually feathers.

How Photography Connects Us

The TED Talk

Photography is a unique way of connecting to one or many people. The ability to capture a significant moment in time and be able to look back on it later truly brings a shared emotion to viewers. There are many photos out there and almost all of them bring emotion to a viewer whether it be disgust or pure happiness. Photography also expands one mind and lets them think more in-depth about a subject. If a person was to approach you and start telling a story about something you were involved with, you would have to make up your own pictures or flashbulb memories in your head. Sometimes they can be all over the place and confusing. Now if they told the story and showed pictures of the story, you can easily visualize it better and have more of an enjoyment of the conversation.

Art is one of the most common types of hobbies out there. It is not one subject when it comes to art, but many such as digital, scientific, industrial, and photography. The artist who is behind the image that the view sees has to take into account multiple aspects of an image to truly bring though an emotion to the viewer. This connects us to one another in an artistic style which leads to us spreading experience and making out photos better. This helps us better capture the moment and share it world wide. Sometimes photographers get noticed for their work which leads to inspiration of new photographers, connecting us closer.

The scene of a photo helps us send a message across to the viewer. Scenes can include color, simplicity, emotional targeted environments, and much more. With the availability of all of these environments/scenes, we can understand a subject or place we maybe have never been involved with before. Some examples of this include war, poachers, cartel, tops of mountains, ect. The story that they can tell sends your mind rushing with ideas and questions leaving you with curiosity and sometimes emotion. This lead to interacting socially and emotionally with one another. Connecting us.

I chose these images because they all show what I love the most. I love sunsets and sunrises, I love aviation and soaring through the sky, but what I love out of anything else in the world is my cat, Feline.
